New NT Seniors Card Discount Directory Released: Hundreds of Savings for Territory Seniors

27 Jun 2026

The new edition of the NT Seniors Card Business Discount Directory 2026–27 is now available, providing Territory seniors with access to hundreds of discounts and special offers from businesses across the Northern Territory.

Available in both print and online, the directory is designed to make it easier than ever for NT Seniors Card holders to discover savings on everyday goods and services while supporting local businesses.

Organised by region and presented in an easy-to-read format, the directory helps seniors quickly find participating businesses and discounts available in their local area, whether they live in Darwin, Palmerston, Katherine, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs or regional and remote communities.

Helping every dollar go further

As cost-of-living pressures continue to affect households across the Northern Territory, finding ways to reduce everyday expenses has become increasingly important for many seniors living on fixed incomes.

The NT Seniors Card Discount Directory connects seniors with local businesses offering valuable discounts and savings that can help make a real difference to household budgets.

“The rising cost of living, increasing fuel prices, and escalating expenses such as insurance, mortgages and rent continue to place pressure on households across the Northern Territory,” said Sue Shearer, CEO of COTA NT. “For many seniors living on fixed incomes, finding ways to make every dollar go further has never been more important.”

Supporting local businesses and communities

The directory is more than a savings guide — it is also an opportunity to support local businesses that contribute to the strength of Territory communities. Many participating businesses are facing their own rising operating costs while continuing to provide discounts to seniors. In addition, many support local sporting clubs, community organisations and community initiatives through sponsorship and partnerships.

By choosing local businesses featured in the directory, seniors can help keep jobs, services and investment within the Northern Territory.
