Latest Seniors’ discounts in the NT are out now

27 Jul 2023

Visitors to the Royal Darwin Show can pick up their copy of the newly printed and minted NT Seniors Card Discount Directory for 2023 and 2024. Seniors Card is upstairs in the Foskey Pavilion with directories, bags, conversation and a free cuppa’.

The complete NT Seniors Card Discount Directory now lists over 480 businesses offering Seniors Card holders discounts on services and products. This year, the print edition specifically supports the ‘Store with a Door’ policy with all businesses listed offering physical premises for seniors to visit and buy products in person (from real people) or a local Territory number to call for services.

Visitors to the show aged 60 and over, who are permanent residents of the Northern Territory can apply for their NT Seniors Card or update their membership details. All are welcome to pick up a discount directory, Seniors Month Calendar, Seniors Voice paper and to buy a raffle ticket (or two, or five).

“We had such a successful Show last year, that we had to come back again,” said Sue Shearer, CEO of COTA NT. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for us to be out and about, to meet people face-to-face and give them our latest publications including of course the 2023-24 Discount Directory. And we make time to listen to people’s concerns. We find out what concerns they might have and see how we can make positive social change. “

The Seniors Card Discount Directory is also available as a PDF download or flipbook on the Seniors Card website as of today. The printed Discount Directory is being sent to libraries, Territory Family shopfronts, council and electoral offices in Darwin, Palmerston, Berry Springs, Coolalinga, Howard Springs, Batchelor, Fred’s Pass, Humpty Doo, Alice Springs, Katherine, Tennant Creek and Nhulunbuy. A full list of distribution points is available on the Seniors Card website.
