Your NT Seniors Card entitles you to most of the same concessions on public transport as card holders in that state or territory.

Australian Capital Territory

Seniors Card holders from other states and territories in Australia can apply for an Interstate Seniors MyWay Card using the Interstate Online Seniors MyWay Card application form. It is best to apply prior travelling to the ACT as you will need to allow 10 days for postage of your card.

New South Wales

You can apply for a Gold Opal card by completing the Interstate Seniors application form. Please submit at least three to four weeks before travelling to NSW.

Queensland

Australians with a valid Seniors Card from any state or territory are eligible for a concession fare.

South Australia

Anyone who holds a valid Australian State or Territory Seniors Card is eligible for FREE Adelaide Metro public transport Monday to Friday before 7.00am, between 9.01am and 3.00pm, after 7.01pm and all day Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.

Victoria

Victoria public transport uses an electronic card called a ‘myki’ to purchase fares.  The discounted fares are only available to Victorian Seniors Card holders.  For more information see Public Transport Victoria.

Western Australia

SmartRider is a reusable smart card, which allows easy, hassle free travel on Transperth services. Interstate seniors are eligible for a SmartRider concession.
