Fox Fire Designs reflects Territorian’s passion

Many of you know Marianne for her incredible work in designing, fixing, and remodelling jewellery for Territory residents for over 31 years. Originally from Germany, Marianne made her way to Australia in 1977 and quickly found her home in the NT in 1978—and she’s never looked back!Marianne’s journey to Darwin is a familiar one. When she first arrived, she was struck by the box-like houses people were living in after Cyclone Tracy. She even lived in one herself in Tiwi.
When asked what kept her in Darwin, Marianne said it was the relaxed people, the feeling of true freedom, and the openness of the place that captured her heart. Marianne has created many memorable pieces over the years, but her Examination pieces hold a special place in her heart. You can see these displayed proudly in her Parap shop. What Marianne loves most about her job is the freedom of expression it allows. Through her designs, she creates stunning jewellery that reflects her unique style and passion.
